Caitlin has experience within government, non- government and private sectors including: headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation, Family & Community Services (FACS), NSW Department of Education and Communities (DEC), Talkingminds and The Benevolent Society.
Caitlin is passionate about supporting children and adolescents during their formative years. She strongly believes that every young person deserves the chance to have the best possible start in life, a perspective which is evident throughout her work.
Caitlin works from a client- centred and strengths perspective with each young person and their family, to develop goals which are in line with their values and to ensure the young person's voice is heard throughout the therapeutic process. She is well known for her ability to create an environment which feels safe and where the client feels supported.
Caitlin is committed to using evidence- based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution- Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma- informed and mindfulness based therapies. Caitlin is also trained and experienced in creative ways of delivering evidence based treatments so to ensure each young person remains highly engaged during sessions.
Caitlin's experience also extends to working with adults presenting with a wide range of psychological issues including depression, trauma and others. Whilst her main area of focus and interest is working with children, adolescents and young people, she is interested and experienced in treating clients of all ages.
Current session times:
Caitlin is currently on maternity leave, her expected return date is January 2020.
Wednesdays: 2.00pm - 7.30pm
Thursdays: 9.00am - 12.00pm
Initial Consultation (90 minutes): $210.00
Ongoing Consultation (50 minutes): $190.00
